Born and raised in a small village outside of New Delhi, Pradeep Teotia is an internationally certified yoga teacher who draws mostly from his training in India. He has practiced and studied yoga his entire life - starting with his grandmother in his early years. He is known for bringing the roots of yoga alive for modern practitioners through the integration of meditation, yoga philosophy, nature's vitality, spontaneous humor, and joy. His unique teaching style brings alive the holistic nature of healing in a way that is simple, powerful, and accessible - allowing people to connect more deeply with their own authentic power and spirit.

Wedderburn Castle is an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts with fabulous walking, cycling and riding on the doorstep.

The stunning sandy beaches of the Berwickshire and North Northumberland coastline are just a stone’s throw away. Some other nearby highlights include the beach at Bamburgh with miles of pristine sands, the magnificent views from the cliff tops at St Abbs Head - a designated Nature Reserve and the breeding ground for thousands of seabirds and seals, and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, an overwhelmingly mystical place cut off from the mainland during high tide.

Travel insurance - it is highly recommended you get travel insurance before arriving

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

Optional add-on activities and massage treatments

Additional meals incl two lunches during the retreat which are not included

40% of the price paid is due 90 days before the retreat start date

30% deposit due at time of booking

Your money is fully refundable if the retreat is cancelled by us at any time, or if you cancel 90 days before the retreat start date (or you can choose to apply your deposit towards another upcoming retreat).

The remainder of the balance is due 60 days before arrival

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

30% of the trip price will be charged if you cancel the booking 89-75 days prior to the start date of the retreat

50% of the trip price will be charged if you cancel the booking 74-60 days prior to the start date of the retreat

If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the retreat start date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited. 

Q. Where should I fly into?
A. You can fly into Edinburgh Airport (EDI) which is an hour's drive away, or Glasgow Airport (GLA) which is a two hour drive from the castle. There are taxis and Ubers available, and we will also help you coordinate ride shares with other guests arriving at similar times. 

Q. Do I need to bring a yoga mat or supplies for classes?
A. No, we will have yoga mats and any other necessary supplies available for you.

Q. Do you offer payment plans?
A. Yes! After your 30% deposit we can set up affordable monthly payments for the remainder of your balance. Simply check the box for setting up a monthly payment plan when you register and we will send you the details. 

Q. Can someone attend and not participate in the yoga?
A. Yes! We've had many partners come along on our retreats and not do yoga but still participate in meals and activities.

Q. Can I come by myself?
A. Absolutely! Many of our retreat participants come alone as that's part of the fun of these retreats - connecting with like-minded fellow travelers and yoga practitioners in an extremely friendly and welcoming environment!

Our luxury castle castle was built in 1770 by renowned Scottish architect, Robert Adam, and provides the perfect backdrop to spend a week feeling like queen or king while enjoying the healing benefits of daily yoga.

The castle is set on 80 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and parkland. It's located an hour's drive east (and slightly south) from Edinburgh, and the charming market town of Duns is just over two miles away.

The castle features 12 large luxury rooms, along with 7 additional rooms available in four cottages located within the private and secluded castle grounds. 

The rooms come with luxurious bathrobes and towels as well as toiletries. There are twin, queen, and king bed options with either ensuite or private bathrooms.

LILA WHITING

Lila brings a playful spirit to her classes, encouraging students to find freedom and enjoyment throughout the practice even amidst the more challenging moments. Her classes focus on core stability & mobility which is the balance between strength & flexibility. By cuing breath in relation to feeling an action in your body, Lila connects people to the healing effects of yoga.

As a dedicated practitioner of yoga for over a decade, Lila draws from a number of methods to inform her teaching style. She has completed 200-hour Hatha, 300-hour Jivamukti & 200-hour Forrest yoga teacher trainings, and is also a qualified Bodyworker.
