CLAIRE MARTI

Claire Petretti Marti has been practicing, studying, and teaching yoga since 1999. Like many fitness enthusiasts, she was initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits of strength, balance, and flexibility. Once Claire realized that serenity, peace of mind, and a general sense of happiness were predominant results of the practice, she was hooked.

A RYT-500 Yoga Alliance instructor, Claire teaches a dynamic vinyasa flow with the intention of creating a moving meditation. She encourages students to find the lightness and the joy in their own practice, both on and off the mat. She is a certified Pilates instructor, a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner and also holds a NASM-certification for personal training. She has significant experience with spinal injuries and frequently works with students recuperating from injuries. She leads international yoga retreats every year. Mind-body fitness is her passion.

In January 2010, Claire was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. Yoga aided her healing throughout treatment and recovery. Learning to live with cancer inspired her to earn her Yoga for Cancer Therapy certification and she now also teaches classes specifically for people living with cancer

WHERE YOU'LL BE STAYING

Tinos is a Greek island situated in the Aegean Sea. It is located in the Cyclades archipelago. In antiquity, Tinos was also known as Ophiussa and Hydroessa. The closest islands are Andros, Delos, and Mykonos.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

Optional add-on activities and massage treatments

Additional meals incl lunches during the retreat which are not included, as well as drinks

40% of the balance is due 60 days before arrival

30% deposit due at time of booking

Your money is fully refundable if the retreat is cancelled by us at any time, or if you cancel 60 days before the retreat start date (or you can choose to apply your deposit towards another upcoming retreat).

The remainder of the balance is due 30 days before arrival

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

30% of the trip price will be charged if you cancel the booking 59-45 days prior to the start date of the retreat

50% of the trip price will be charged if you cancel the booking 44-30 days prior to the start date of the retreat

If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the retreat start date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited. 

Q. Where should I fly into?
A. You can fly into  Athens International Airport and then fly from there to Mykonos International Airport and take a 30 min ferry to Tinos Island. Or you can Fly into Athens and take a ferry from there to Tinos which will take approximately 2.5 hours. 

Q. Do I need to bring a yoga mat or supplies for classes?
A. No, we will have yoga mats and any other necessary supplies available for you.

FAQs

Q. Do you offer payment plans?
A. Yes! After your 30% deposit we can set up affordable monthly payments for the remainder of your balance. Simply check the box for setting up a monthly payment plan when you register and we will send you the details. 

Q. What will the temperature be like?
A. Expect temperatures to range from 68-70 degrees during the day and 62-64 degrees at night. 

Q. Can I come by myself?
A. Absolutely! Many of our retreat participants come alone as that's part of the fun of these retreats - connecting with like-minded fellow travelers and yoga practitioners in an extremely friendly and welcoming environment!

Apart from its majestic sandy beaches, never-ending scenery and herbal aromas, Tinos Island is an authentic Greek island with more than 60 villages and 1,500 orthodox and catholic chapels and churches, offering ample opportunities to submerse yourself in the local culture.

This retreat includes breakfasts and dinners + two lunches, along with twice daily yoga, and is suitable for everyone from beginner to experienced yoga practitioners (non-yoga participants are welcome too!).

ROBERT SIDOTI

Robert Sidoti is a certified yoga instructor and personal trainer. He created Broga with the simple goal of bringing the benefits of yoga to more men. Broga represents the culmination of Robert’s vast expertise as a health and fitness professional and the attainment of his goal to create an optimal and balanced Yoga/Fitness Optimal Living program.

With his personality, commitment to promoting men’s health, and deep love of yoga, Robert is known as a passionate, innovative, and skilled teacher of energetic, fun, challenging, and mildly addictive classes.

Robert has received certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Karma Kids NYC, and has studied yoga for athletic peak performance with Swami Sitaramananda at the Sivananda Vendanta Centre, and has a 200-hour certification through Kira Ryder, founder of Lulubandhas and the Ojai Yoga Crib.

He leads workshops and retreats nationally at centers like Kripalu Center and Internationally in Costa Rica, Tulum Mexico, Ireland, and at national events such as Yoga Reaches Out. He lives on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, in Massachusetts.
